Instahyre ATS Chrome Extension (Beta)
In this article learn about how you can leverage Instahyre's ATS Chrome extension to directly add candidate profiles to your Instahyre ATS from websites like LinkedIn and others.
Please note ATS Chrome Plugin is only available for our ATS Beta users
To download the file go to Integrations >> Chrome extension >> Download now
Extract the downloaded file on your computer and open chrome://extensions/ on your google chrome browser.
Turn on "Developer mode" from the top right corner.
Click on "Load unpacked" from top left corner.
Select the extracted folder & click "Select folder"
The extension is ready to use now. You can pin the extension to your navigation bar for easy access.
Once you open a candidate profile on LinkedIn, our extension will appear on the right side panel of the screen. Click on the extension to start sourcing that profile.
Sign in using your Instahyre employer credentials
Once you are logged in. Select the job and hiring stage for exporting the candidate.
Please note - Candidate can be added to any job and stage, if not specified they will go to "Uploaded candidates".
Instahyre ATS Chrome plugin is smart & Intuitive. It has the ability to identify and discover candidate information directly. It can automatically parse information like candidate Candidate name, Current company, designation, Location, Experience, Skills and more.
Then click on 'Next' and we will show you all the relevant candidate info identified by the Instahyre ATS extension.
You can drag and drop the resume or manually upload it from Linkedin as well.
Please note you can manually add all the missing candidate information as well.
*You can also add missing skills or a note about the candidate. Once you are done, click on 'Add candidate on Instahyre' and the candidate information will be successfully imported.
You can now view the candidate on Instahyre.
Let's see how you can source candidates from Github through Instahyre chrome extension.
Click on the Instahyre extension button from the side panel.
*Log in through your Instahyre credentials.
Click on the job and stage you want to export the candidate.
To upload the candidate's resume, you can drag and drop it or manually upload it. Our extension automatically fetches the rest of the available information from the candidate's profile.
Fill in any missing information, like skills, and you can also add any notes about the candidate. When finished, click 'Add candidate to Instahyre' to source the candidate.
Once exported, you can view the candidate on instahyre.
There could be few webpages which are not supported by Instahyre ATS Chrome extension either because there is not enough candidate information or the website doesn't allow parsing. But, don't worry! If you wish to add a candidate from those webpages, click on the extension icon and manually add all the candidate information.
If you are on a Free plan you can only export 3 profiles per week to Instahyre ATS. Upgrade your subscription to export more candidates.
Whenever a version is launched you will get a notification reminding you to upgrade the chrome extension.
If you do not having sourcing access this feature will not be available to you. Contact your Admin to upgrade your role.

Q. There is a webpage through which i wish to import the candidate but Instahyre ATS prompt is not appearing?
