Hiring Roles (Team Direct)
Learn everything about hiring roles on your Instahyre account.
Each employer on Instahyre has a Team page, which offers capabilities to make your team productive and eliminates the chances of recruiters building multiple enterprise accounts for their jobs.
Recruiters from the same employer can collaborate to close a position faster.
Using Instahyre as a team helps reduce the chances of recruiters contacting the same profiles separately.
Improves productivity and communication among the members which provides a superior candidate experience.
According to our survey with more than 1000 top HR leaders and talent acquisition heads, this approach has reduced the instances of multiple recruiters reaching to the same candidate for the same job by 83% and increased the conversion rate by a staggering 178%.
The team page provides visibility across the hiring roles and helps maximize the recruiter's effectiveness.
Registered recruiters from your organization can be assigned four types of roles. Their status can be of an Admin, Recruiter, Hiring Manager or Interviewer.
A) Admins: An Admin is typically the head of the recruitment team or the SPOC for the company’s Instahyre account. They can perform all actions on the product, including generating usage reports, and modifying global settings and the brand page. An admin may or may not be a recruiter. Typically, an admin who is not a recruiter would use an admin role with a basic license, so that they can modify all global settings, but cannot source candidates.
B) Recruiters: A Recruiter is the primary person responsible for posting jobs, sourcing candidates, and ensuring the interview process happens smoothly. They can post jobs and perform all types of actions on jobs they are subscribed to. For jobs where they are not subscribed, they can perform all types of actions if they are the stage owner for a stage, or with candidates with whom they have a past or upcoming event, or candidates shared with them. Unlike admins, recruiters cannot modify global settings for the employer account. They are responsible for moving candidates between stages.
C) Hiring Manager: A Hiring Manager is the person to whom a hired candidate will report. Hiring Managers work closely with recruiters to define job requirements, review candidate profiles, and make final hiring decisions. They can perform all types of actions on candidates similar to recruiters. But unlike recruiters, they cannot post or edit jobs, and they cannot view sourcing stages of jobs, or use the Search page.
D) Interviewer: An Interviewer is an employee in the organization who is none of the above, and is only responsible for interviewing candidates. They can only view candidates with whom they have a past or upcoming event. Interviewers cannot perform other actions on the platform, except for leaving evaluations for the events to which they are assigned.
The table below lists an overview of what each role can do, assuming that it’s a paid employer and admins and recruiters are licensed.
Limitations of the Basic and Licensed plan are covered in this article.
